About me

I am an assistant professor at the Department of Linguistics, University of Washington, directing the Neuroplasticity and Language Lab (NLL). I received my Ph.D. in Linguistics and Cognitive Science from the University of California, San Diego, affiliated with the Mayberry Laboratory for Multimodal Language Development.

My research interests lie in language processing and learning, the neural foundations of language, and early neural plasticity. Currently I’m working with deaf individuals acquiring American Sign Language with delayed language onset. I work on behavioral as well as neural data, with a focus on basic morpho-syntactic processes. You can find an overview of my research projects here, and my google scholar profile here.
